Teaching Children to Read Through Art
He is called the “Maestro de Marionetas” – the teacher of puppets. Alejandro Ramírez Honda is a Mexican painter and puppeteer. Maestro Alejandro’s love for drawing began at an early age. He prepared for his career at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), studying painting and graphic design. He has worked for many important companies like Banamex, Carton y Papel de México, and J. Walter Thompson de México, S.A.
For the past several years, Maestro Alejandro has dedicated himself to puppet theater, using his puppets to teach children to read.
