The “Sin Fronteras” Exhibition
An artist, a poet, a community activist – Lisa Bissonnette encaptures it all. Since 1969, she has traveled from Montreal, Quebec, to share her talents with the people of Mexico. She has also represented and promoted many other great artists and performers throughout her career.
Lisa Bissonnette was the co-founder and director of Atelier Libre 848, a very well-known graphics workshop and gallery in Montreal. She has exhibited her works in Paris, Switzerland, New York, and many other international locations.
She has also represented and promoted great artists all her life, including jewelry designer Claude Hunot in his gallery of Quebec, and years later at Javis Centre in New York City, where she once lived and worked for the United Nations.

In 2019, Lisa Bissonnette exhibited her show, “Sin Fronteras” (Without Borders), at the Archeological Museum in Zihuatanejo. The Zihuatanejo Municipal Tourism Department co-sponsored the exhibition and supplied the following photos.
