Pedro Torres Peña Transmits the Vibrant Feelings of the Costa Chica
Born in the city of Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, Pedro Torres Peña started showing his artistic talents at an early age. The area, comprised of the southern parts of the states of Oaxaca and Guerrero, is called the “Costa Chica” region of our country.
Pedro inherited his love for chanting from his grandfather and father. He is a singer who, through his compositions and voice, transmits the vibrant feelings of the Costa Chica of Guerrero and Oaxaca, through Chile, boleros, poetry, and verses. He has presented at various events in Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, the CDMX, and the Cervantino Festival, and has recorded twelve musical productions.
