The current health pandemic has changed our lives in many ways. Now, more than ever, we must work TOGETHER to plan our future. But how do we do that if much of our history is based on myths? It is time to “decolonize” our minds, to listen to others, and to plan a future that includes and respects all people.

In this issue, we included articles about the Indigenous cultures of Mexico. Mexico is one of the most diverse countries in the world with 68 official Indigenous languages. Until this year, Afromexicans were also counted among the Indigenous populations, but they were identified for the first time in the 2020 Census.
