Young, Talented, and Great Musicians!

The Garcia Sisters are the daughters of the great musician and arranger, Mariano García, and of the composer Eugenia Santiago Chacón. They have voices that deny their tender age. Laura started singing next to her father when she was nine years old, and later, her sister decided that she also wanted to sing.

At first, they were part of their father’s group, Los García, but, when they met the producers of Discos Corasón, the group became Las Hermanas García with their father Mariano in charge of artistic direction, and with the young Jesús Ramsés Ramos Millán on the electric bass.

El Negro de la Costa (Video Clip)

This Mexican duet, renowned interpreters of the coastal bolero, sing songs from their childhood – the traditional “Chileans” of Guerrero and Oaxaca. This theme, composed by the great Álvaro Carrillo, is a must at the parties on the coast of Guerrero, where this video was filmed.

Un minuto de amor (Video Clip)

Filmed in their hometown, the girls sing about giving “one minute of love.” The music is beautiful. Also look at the scenery in the town.

El chico de mi rosal

A live performance of the song by compositor Santiago de Cuba, Alejandro Almenares.

Lágrimas Negras (Video Oficial)

Tu voz (Video Clip)

‘Tu voz’ is a Peruvian waltz, from 1970, written by the Peruvian poet, Juan Gonzalo Rose, and made famous by Lucha Reyes, Afro-Peruvian singer (nothing to do with the Mexican singer of the same name). Enjoy!

And lastly, watch these young women from Costa Chica went to London, England, to spread their music around the world!
