Born in the city of Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, Pedro Torres Peña started showing his artistic talents at an early age. The area, comprised of the northern part of the state of Oaxaca and the southern part of the state of Guerrero, is called the “Costa Chica” region of our country.
Pedro inherited his love for chanting from his grandfather and father. He is a singer who, through his compositions and voice, transmits the vibrant feeling of the Costa Chica of Guerrero and Oaxaca, through Chile, boleros, poetry, and verses. He has presented at various events in Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, the CDMX, and the Cervantino Festival, and has recorded twelve musical productions.
He us costeña (from the coast) He is Pedro Torres Peña. Enjoy!
