It’s time to celebrate! Join us for a week of wonderful beach events, cultural activities, music, art and joy! And, it’s all for the benefit of the children of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo.
Each year, the community of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo conducts Peace Education activities for certification as a “Culture of Peace Community” through the DRD Peace Center in partnership with the United Nations. This year, our theme is “Education for Peace” and our community will host a Celebration of Peace and receive its peace re-certification at the conclusion of the Zihuatanejo Sail Fest, sponsored by the “Por Los Niños” educational charity.
Throughout this event, you can buy $10 Peso raffle tickets for a huge variety of great prizes, all donated by local merchants. Proceeds benefit the area’s schools and other educational projects. Everyone is invited! Please join us to host our special guest from the United Nations.
