Every year for the World’s Best Awards survey, Travel & Leisure magazine asks its readers to share their opinions on the top cities, islands, cruise ships, hotels, spas, airlines, and more. The winners for 2017 were recently announced – and Capella Ixtapa is included in the World’s Best Hotels!

Capella Resort, located on the coastline of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, received recognition as #4 of the top 10 resort hotels in Mexico, and #79 of the top 100 hotels in the world! Bravo Capella!

For the first time ever in its 22-year history, a city in Mexico ranks #1 in the Travel & Leisure annual reader survey – San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. The city of Oaxaca is distinguished, ranking #6 on the Top 15 Cities List.
